Our Vision is focused to ensure a secure place for the children and socially & economically empowered community through minimizing poverty in a strong civil society. Our mission is to develop healthy children, peaceful youth and community in a strong civil society. The vision will be optimized by total Child Development and empowering communities through capacity building & MSME development. Please visit our website (https://sesathaassociation.com/) for more information. The Sesatha Economic and Livelihood Development Association was established in 2005. Currently, it carries out social & economic development projects through seventy (70) Community Based Organizations (CBOs) covering Sinhala, Tamil & Muslim families in hundred seventy-eight (178) GN Divisions within seventeen (17) of twenty-one (21) Divisional Secretariat divisions in the Galle District of Sri Lanka.

The Sesatha Association is governed by twelve (12) female Board of Directors including the Board Chair Person. Of this Board, nine (9) female directors are enjoying the full power related to governing of this organization. Under this director board, Sesatha Association Chief Executive Officer is functioning in order to conduct the administrative work as a full-time member. Under the purview of Sesatha Association Chief Executive Officer (Male), the Program Manger (Male), Finance Officer (female), Internal Auditor (female) and twelve (12) Cluster Mangers (female) are functioning at ground level.

Lanka Microfinance Practitioners’ Association

LMPA is the pioneer in microfinance networking among microfinance practitioners in Sri Lanka, and was initiated on the 31st of March 2006. The Lanka Microfinance Practitioners’ Association is incorporated as a non-profit organization under the Companies Act No. 7 of 2007.
