The newly formed Sejaya Micro Credit is registered as a Limited Liability (Public) Company, which was registered in February 2015 and commenced operations in June 2015. (Registration No. PB 5251).

Presently Sejaya has 5 branches at Padukka, Hanwella, Ingiriya , Pasyala and Avissawella.
LMPA is the pioneer in microfinance networking among microfinance practitioners in Sri Lanka, and was initiated on the 31st of March 2006. The Lanka Microfinance Practitioners’ Association is incorporated as a non-profit organization under the Companies Act No. 7 of 2007.
