Rajarata Praja Kendraya

Rajarata Praja Kendraya (RPK) has been working in the North Central province since 1995. RPK has completed two decades of community development work with the people in the two districts and has mobilized communities in over 22 DS divisions. RPK has one district network in Anuradhapura which has 144 CBOs as members and 5 DS divisional networks. In Pollonnaruwa, RPK has initiated the mobilization and alliance building of the CBOs and intends to form the network by end of this year 2016.RPK has built an alliance among CBOs and formed five networks at DS level in Palagala, Kekirawa, Manupa,  Kebethigollawa. and Padaviya.

Rajarata Praja Kendraya. It was registered in Anuradapura District Secretaries Office as a NGO and the registration was backdated to 1997. At Present RPk  Consist of three components as below .

01.Social development division.

02.Vocational Training Division.

03.Microfinance Division.

RPK use below methods to approach to the clients

Community empowerment through the Coop approach. A Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA), Women’s empowerment and Participatory capacity building. Microfinance division uses Financial and Non Financial servers to satisfying the customer’s needs and wants.
