BANKING WITH THE POOR NETWORK MICROFINANCE MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

The Banking With The Poor Network in collaboration with ACCESS-ASSIST, cordially invites microfinance managers to join our Microfinance Management Development Training on June 4 - 7, 2012 in New Delhi, India.

The training course was developed by Women's World Banking and is based on a Citi management training program.

The course addresses the key concepts of managing for results, and aims to develop management skills for MFI managers through a two-step approach.

The first part focuses on the participants’ understanding of themselves and how they interact with others. The second part is anchored on this self-understanding and introduces tools that build skills in managing people and processes

 

The course is action-oriented, and the objectives of the training are:.

  • To understand how personal values and motivations influence managerial perspectives
  • To hold yourself and others accountable for results.
  • To effectively influence people and outcomes through better communication styles.
  • To understand the key principles for managing people, process and resources
  • To practice skills in holding critical conversations for managing the performance and development of staff.

To build strengths and overcome weaknesses through an actionable self-development plan.

KEEN TO PARTICIPATE?
Eligibility: Participants should hold a management position within a microfinance institution. The course will be conducted in English, therefore proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

Registration:
The fee includes the training, all course materials, and daily lunch and refreshments during the training.

Hotel accommodation and flights are not included in the registration fee.
